Pitch reported stories, guides, columns, and photo essays grounded in Durham Region.
Pitch format
Send a headline, a two-sentence angle, the municipality or beat, why it matters now, and the sources you expect to contact.
What fits
Local accountability reporting, service journalism, food and business openings, weekend guides, explainers, and deeply reported community stories.
What does not fit
Generic opinion pieces, rewritten press releases without added reporting, sponsored copy presented as journalism, or stories without a Durham angle.
