Clarington clarifies Newcastle tax sale covers parking space and locker

The Municipality of Clarington has put a parking space and a storage locker at 21 Brookhouse Drive in Newcastle up for sale by public tender, according to the municipality's official tender listing. The listing describes the property as condo parking, with a minimum tender amount of $11,105.55.

The municipality clarified that the items for sale are a parking space and a storage locker in the condominium building, following earlier coverage of Clarington tax-sale listings for properties assessed around $19,000.

Tenders will be received until 3 p.m. on November 4 at the Municipal Administration Centre, 40 Temperance Street in Bowmanville, according to the tender notice.
