About Kiwanis Heydenshore Park
Kiwanis Heydenshore Park is a Whitby beach along the Whitby Shores Waterfront Trail, at 589 Water Street. The Town lists a playground, splash pad and picnic shelters beside the sand.
Picnic shelters can be booked; the Town’s 2026 rental season for shelters and gazebos runs from May 9 to October 4. Alcohol is not permitted in Whitby’s public parks, and charcoal grills have been removed. A single propane barbecue is allowed only with a shelter permit.
