Centennial Park
A downtown Uxbridge greenspace on the site of the town’s old mill pond, a short walk from shops and the library.
About Centennial Park
Centennial Park is in downtown Uxbridge, with parking behind the library on Centennial Drive. The Township describes it as a place to pause between shops and restaurants, with greenspace for a picnic or a quiet break.
The site was the town’s original pond, used for waterpower until the late 1940s. After the pond became a creek, the land was used as the town dump until it was rebuilt as a park in 1967 for Canada’s centennial. It is part of the township’s 2022 Downtown Revitalization Plan. The parks page does not publish daily hours for this park.
