Scugog Shores Museum Village
A seasonal heritage village on Scugog Island interpreting local life through restored buildings, gardens and exhibits.
About Scugog Shores Museum Village
Scugog Shores Museum Village has eleven restored buildings, heritage flower and vegetable gardens, and the Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands. The Head Schoolhouse and Head Memorial Church stand on their original sites; log cabins and other buildings have been moved here for preservation.
Guided tours are included with admission during the May–September season. Off-season tours are offered through specific events, so October visits need a confirmed programme rather than a walk-in plan.
