Rotary Frenchman's Bay West Park
A rebuilt waterfront park on the southwest shore of Frenchman's Bay, with a beach, picnic area and Waterfront Trail link.
About Rotary Frenchman's Bay West Park
Rotary Frenchman's Bay West Park sits on Beachpoint Promenade, off the south end of West Shore Drive, along the southwest shore of Frenchman's Bay. The City of Pickering rebuilt it in phases from 2018 to 2023, adding layby parking, a picnic area, an interpretive kiosk, shoreline restoration, walkways, lighting and a comfort station.
The park connects to the Waterfront Trail and is designated an environmentally sensitive area by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. Visitors can use the sandy beach, fishing area and accessible canoe and kayak launch. Public art on the site includes “Water is Medicine” by the art collective Dbaajmowin and “Our House” by Dorsey James.
