Pickering Museum Village
A heritage village beside Duffins Creek where historic buildings and interpretation introduce Pickering’s past.

About Pickering Museum Village
A blacksmith shop, log buildings, a schoolhouse, temperance house and chapel make up part of this 19-building heritage village beside Duffins Creek. Some buildings date to 1810, and the museum includes hands-on exhibits.
Start at admissions inside the Dorsay Community & Heritage Centre, then follow the path into the village. The main path is long and unpaved; staff can arrange a different accessible entrance. General admission has finished for the 2026 season, so choose a confirmed programme or tour for an autumn visit.
