About Sunderland Park
Sunderland Park is at 18 Church Street in Sunderland and is the township’s site for the Sunderland Fall Fair and Maple Syrup Festival. The Township of Brock lists baseball diamonds, a basketball court, a picnic shelter, a playground, a skateboard park, tennis courts and beach volleyball courts.
The Sunderland Lions Walking Trail is a 3,018-foot paved loop around the fairgrounds, reached from 20 Park Street. The township notes that the Lions received a Durham Region Accessibility Award for the trail. Event days can fill the grounds, so check the township calendar if you want a quiet visit.
