About Veterans’ Point Gardens
At the foot of Harwood Avenue, Veterans’ Point Gardens tells the story of HMS Ajax and the wartime Defence Industries Limited plant. Mast-like lights and a bow-shaped information area reflect the town’s naval history.
The waterfront trail continues beyond the gardens, and a bicycle repair station serves passing riders.
